I am installing a new thermostat. It is the 3 legs type. I do not see any arrows or dimple that goes to the front. I can't see anything different anywhere that maybe should go to the front.

I have installed many thermostats over the years and never knew that sometimes they had to be orientated a certain way.

Maybe an explanation of what and why would help. Anybody care to explain?
