1975 26' GMC Eleganza II, original 455 motor and original 425 tranny. I bought this earlier this year from the nephew of the original owner. He pulled it out of storage and put $1500 worth of new tires on it and drove it 1400 miles back to Nebraska from Washington state without any problems. The odometer shows 69k miles, nephew says the engine and tranny were rebuilt at 100k miles. It has a side wet bath with mascerating toilet. It also has an Onan 6000 watt generator that I serviced with around 350 hours on it. In addition to the new tires, I have done the following:
Changed All Fluids
Flushed The Radiator
New cap on Distributor HEI
New plugs and wires
New Dan Hensley Air Bag System
New Converter/Charger
New Leather Reclining/Swivel Captains Chairs
New Cherry Laminate Vinyl Flooring
New Carpet Front and Rear
New Window Felt On All Windows
I have a new electric fuel pump that I haven't put on yet that will be included with the RV. It's a clean Motorhome and runs great. Other than what I mentioned it's all original. Went from Des Moines to Wheatland, Missouri over Labor Day, about a 6 1/2 hour trip each way and didn't have any issues. It is a single rooftop AC unit that blows in the low 40's and cools it down nice for sleeping.
It still needs a few things done to it that I haven't had a chance to do yet. The cab AC needs a charge, it just blows warm air, and the exhaust manifold gaskets need replaced. Other than what I mentioned, it is all orginal incuding the refrigerator, which needs replaced. It has a custom mural on both sides that I have been told adds character to the RV. If I end up keeping it I was planning on painting over it next spring.I uploaded some pics at
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g6216-75-eleganza-ii-for-sale.html It's parked at the farm right now, but I'll head down later this week and get some interior pics to add. Like to get $7500 out of it to get my money back, minus the labors of love.... If I don't get a reasonable offer, I'll hang on to it.

Not sure why it won't let me change my error, they are not Hensen air bags, they are the new ones I got from Dan Hensley and they make the ride smooth.
