Ok... I replaced my brake valve early this year.
I noticed that I had a leak on one of the old brake lines going into the bottom of the valve.
so I replaced that line this week. Stupid thing still is leaking. Not as bad.. but I also have it alot tighter now.
only leaks when I press hard on the pedal, and very slightly.
how often does one get a bad brake line? any thoughts as to what I should do to make sure it does not leak if I try to put in another new one.
am I using the wrong flare? I think it is a double flare.
I was tempted to try a "flare saver" but not sure if I can even find one locally.
here is the picture of the one that is leaking.

I really do not like working on this once. I really hate having to deal with something twice or three times.
plan is to pick up another line. bend it, and then just make sure I get a mirror and look closely to make sure the brass is not cracked, or something burred inside.
