My 75 Glenbrook (alias Brutus) seemed happy with its new mufflers and new Remflex manifold gaskets ($671.97 including tax not not counting the gaskets). It sounded like a million bucks driving home from the muffler shop - instead of an old John Deere (no offense to John Deere lovers). You'd think the machine would be happy - but no - now it's s unhappy about something else and showing it's displeasure by leaking down on the drivers side on hold position when i wasn't looking. Fortunately I outsmarted it sometime back and installed Jim B's shutoff system and can easily isolate the bag which continues to hold up nicely when isolated from the system. I pulled out the shutoff valves (J.R. Slaten) to the generous inch or so that the spare hose length would allow ) and there does not seem to be a leak there so I'm thinking there must be a leak in the line somewhere. My lines are a patchwork of faded colors with splices here and there (some of which I have made myself).
My question is what was the original color of the hold, raise & lower line from the valves to the bag on the drivers side. If I replace the entire line I might as well use the original color.
