Went to move the beast around to do some pidling stuff and main battery was dead, so I learned the main battery must be for the power to the boost solenoid because I had to get a little charge in it before I could use the boost. Remembered that I had to pull the wires off of the horns in the Cracker Barrel lot last week when they came on after a hard turn in the rain. Didn't think no more about till yesterday. The wire from the aftermarket wheel/ horn button somehow had touched the top of the steering shaft and left the horn relay on all week, needless to say it didn't do the relay any good, took it apart and the coil inside was crunchy, ordered it yesterday. Just thought this was an interesting place for a short which I don't believe I've seen mentioned before. Just cranal-anal inversion on my part for forgeting about the stuck horn all week. Actually, at that time, I just thought the relay got wet but where it is, seems to be really dry in that spot compared to the poor ol master cylinder. Just a little info from my peanut gallery.
