Great timing! That will give you a full week to drive from Branson to Coos Bay, OR, to join us for the joint GMC Cascaders and GMCWS fall rally which starts October 2, 2013, at the Mill Casino, Hotel and RV Resort. From there you can boogie down the Pacific coast to watch Fleet Week on Treasure Island right in the middle of SF Bay.

Talk about a memorable GMC trip - September in Missouri, early October along the Oregon coast with all the fall colors mixed with the evergreens and the most spectacular part of the Pacific coast, then the deep blue color of SF Bay which you get to watch as the only motor coaches allowed on Treasure Island during Fleet Week. Can't get much better than that! Hope to see you there.

My thoughts exactly!!! Heck of a trip. Maybe the Jet Setters will throw in an after TI rally. Now I got to get a job to pay for fuel.

That rally sounds great. Too bad there is only 100 sites or GMCMI would have considered having our convention there either before or after the GMCWS/ Cascaders one.

Being a long time member of GMCWS I and going to see if we can make that rally. We'll have a week to drive there after the GMCMI convention. I once drove from Ft. Meyers to Phoenix in three days to make the GMCWS rally which was even farther.

It's getting harder to find sites which are large enough and affordable. A lot of sites, especially in California, are now over $40-45 per night which would mean a $450 or $500 + rally.
