Wake up Guy's ,the cooling is done with LPG ,of course they use an 110 ac
motor for ventilation.

The point I was making ,was a high starting current, for a compressor was
not needed.

Greetings:

Paul, not trying to be obtuse or anything, but where in the link provided did it say unit was LPG?

A quick check on the net showed supplied link and follow up on LG web site that the unit is a portable room A/C unit that requires 115vac@11a:

http://www.lg.com/us/air-conditioners/lg-LP1111WXR-portable-air-conditioner

Was there some other unit on the supplied link pointing to the LPG A/C unit were were thinking of?

Interesting. Wonder how they keep the room from heating up from the burner?

11 amps for ventilation is a bit much. That is what it takes to run my electric air conditioner without the additional LP.

I think you need to look at the specs again.
