We just got home from Colquitt, Ga. Bout 1000 miles for us, one qt oil, 2 tanks gas pulling toad. No problems Cool .
Elaine Henderson was our host, Kens name was on it too and I am sure he did something. Elaine took us to her home town of Colquitt, Ga. There is nothing there but peanuts and cotton. The camping $ was free if you could put up with free elec, water and a dump station. If you wanted full 50 amp hookups, water and sewer it was $15. Oh yea they do have a playhouse in an old cotton warehouse. The town folks do a different play every year, this year it is "Live and learn". It is their 20th aniversary. Best $20 i ever spent. Google Swamp Gravey and take a look. Almost every building around the beautiful town square has full murials painted on everystuff. I hope somebody posts some town pics as I didn`t. Crying or Very Sad Did I mention Dixielanders eat gooood? Elaine had us eatin Prime rib buffet one night at Moby Dicks, All you can eat seafood buffet and buffet breakfasts at Helens. We ate breakfast at the Tarrer Inn in the town square and I felt I shoulda had a tie on. Georgeous Southern Inn. Jim & Aida took the honeymoon suite just cause they could. And the town people all treated us as if we were family. I had a leaking water line going to my water heater, Ken H took me to Ace and met Tom Moore the owner right at 12:00 Sat, closing time. He locked the door behind us. I got back to the coach and realized I needed 1/2" repair fitting instead of 3/8", so mad dash back to Ace, knocked on the door Tom was still there no problem, he swapped them and back to the campground. Well I needed 1/2" od and I had 1/2" id, yep back to Ace, Tom still there and swapped with me again. 5 min repair with the sharkbite until I dropped it behind the water heater. So I end up taking the end off the couch/bed instead of removing the water heater to retreive this fitting I had to have since I got the lines cut. Thanks Jim & Mark for turnin a hunderd screws. There was a football field in the campground, Local schools played Fri & Sat. We didn`t do nothin but eat, get entertained, and socialized with our family of Dixielanders. It was great.
Yes Dan I did get a few pics.
