My cruise control has quit working. Reading notes here I have found reference to the Rostra CC and I think that is what I have.

I have identified the signal generator between the spedo cable parts and I have a chain/cable running from the carb to a "black box" that is mounted to the floor under the driver's seat. The cable goes into the center of a large round cover - approximately 4" diameter which is mounted to a box that looks to be approximately 3" square (I don't know how deep. There appears to be a vacuum line going inot the back of that box.

The steering column stalk looks like the first one shown on the Rostra site, which they refer to as GMC original, pre 1981.

Does this appear to be a Rostra unit? If so, any help on what model number? Hopefully I can look up their installation manual for a bit of trouble shooting.

Thanks for any help.
