G'day,
OK City is OK!
Especially when you're hosted by a long time natives that knows their way around - Mac and Judy MacDonald.
We visited the Federal Building Memorial the evening we arrived and were most impressed with the design. Really touching.
The next morning Mac and I messed around with his H2O supply system under his bathroom sink that was, as he put it a real "Charlie
Foxtrot!"
It wasn't to hard to get the right fittings to make it all work but I really got PO'd when it leaked because of some damaged or
poorly manufactured fittings we bought at Home Depot. We replaced them with good ones and that was that!
Mac and I then headed for the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Museum, Helen and Judy were shopping and happy at that. It is a great place to
visit as there are lots of displays of the cowboy era of the last century. We reckon to see it all properly you'd need to spend two
days wandering around.
The next morning Mac and I got up at dark thirty and headed to Home Depot to see if we could find the parts to fix the leaking drain
under the kitchen sink. After purchasing every and any PVC fitting that might work we got back and tried what we had purchased only
to find that the dimensions of the PVC and ABS were not the same. Mac knows a place where he can by ABS fittings that will work.
We pulled out around 10:30 heading for an old HS workmate's home in Quitman.
Regards,
Rob M.
