Went out for pizza in the coach and we were immediately talked to about it by a table of happy diners. Afterwards a lady came up to us and asked if we had bought the coach from her. We recognized her and said "YES". She was so happy to see it being used. It was her fathers, Roy Goetzke's. We told her we had just taken it to Amana and she was thrilled to hear that several of the attendees spoke highly of Roy. I told her we played "The Horn" upon our departure and she fondly recalled her dad doing that. She was glad we had got the horn working as it had not been the last time she tried it.
We ate our respective dinners and when she left she came over and gave us a big hug, told us she sent texts all her children about sighting Grandpa's coach again and told us "we made her day"
I guess the GMC experience does make a world of memories and difference in folks lives that are lucky enough to enjoy them.
I know that encounter lit up ours.
