I must say this convention was about as good as it gets. Weather was great and we had the vendors in door again. Makes it so much easier for the vendors. I think we ended up with a total of 158 coaches. That is a good turnout considering the price of fuel. At 420 miles Teri and I are some of the closest folks to this place, not counting a few locals. Many people drove a 1000 miles plus to get here. The guy in the tent drove 25 hours to get here. I heard no complaints from anyone. We even had bubble gum ice cream for lunch today. We have a new president and a whole new slate of officers.
Check the tracker tomorrow if you have time. Teri and I will leave here at 6 am, if I don't oversleep, and roll south along the west side of the Mississippi River.
Was just a great time. I hate leaving such good friends for 6 months. The next convention is the last of March in Dothan. Hope to see everyone there. Oh, was one complaint. Those using wifi were pretty much dead in the water. If you have not heard from folks this week, that may be why. The park's wifi just could not handle the crowd. I have my own internet so that is how I was able to load all of those pictures.
Jim K. was loaded and left here about 5 pm. I hope to hear from him along the way. The coach sounded good so I am sure he will have no problems, other than maybe running out of gas. Very Happy

We had lots of visitors looking at our machines this week. The word was out that we were crashing Amana.
Hope no one has any problems on their way home.

Though I had to leave early on Wednesday, I certainly enjoyed my first real convention and meeting many of my GMCnet posters in person. All the tech sessions I was able to see we're first-rate and I learned a lot.

My coach did a 500 mile round trip from Chicago without any real hiccups, which made me very happy as I think everyone has a certain amount of trepidation when they take their first trip in a new old coach.

Thanks to all the great folks that put in the time to put this all together, and I look forward to seeing you again.

Great to see you all. I came away a little less stir crazy and with a set of Honda tan takeouts (less the shipping) that I think my lower back will much appreciate.
