Have you tried that plastic welding kit on the dash? Wondering how that might work on dash as mine is broken in several spots.

I think that you'l find that the dash plastic is so brittle that as you weld up one section, another spot will crack apart. They have reached the end of their service life, and the easiest course is to replace the entire dash with a new fiberglass one (Frank Jenkins has a very nice one displayed at Amana). However, it isn't a cheap fix. Shipping would also be quite expensive as it is a big box.

I did use a soldering iron to repair some small cracks in a dash that I had purchased. I then used fiberglass resin and cloth to backup the original plastic (I have the dash out) and the end result seems to be very strong. However, for the amount of time required, I'm not sure that a fiberglass replacement may not be the better long term fix.
