TOTALLY STOKED to find a set of window screens for a song.
Totally bummed to find the tracks missing in the rear windows and in poor shape in the fronts.
Haven't been able to find any info about replacements other than they don't exist. What have people used instead if they can't find OEM?
I guess if worse comes to worst we get some weatherstripping and use it to keep them in place and just don't slide them, but if there's another way...?

Though I haven't done this myself, I wonder if you could simply get some aluminum channel (McMaster-Carr has it available in a variety of sizes) and simply make some tracks for the screen to slide in. As you only need the one screen section to slide, mounting a channel on the bottom and top of the screen section should allow it so slide, and a bit of weatherstripping should seal the ends as needed.
I replaced my windows, so I don't remember how the original screens slid, but it has to be in a channel, so you should be able to duplicate the upper and bottom sections fairly easily.
