I think I posted a link to an auction earlier this year.

City of St. Louis park had a gmc on their auction site, and what looked to be a good deal.

it bid up to $5500. and I do not know who bought it.

it is now for sale on craigslist.

Would make a pretty cool party bus. and I had talked to the maintenance supervisor of the city, when it was on auction, and he claims it was all set to go. but for what the new price is, I am not so sure.

if it drove from st. louis park to grand rapids. that is a good 3 to 4 hour drive.

Basically an "almost new" transmode ready to be customized.
The city seems to have cared for it very well over the years!

What a fantastic starting point!

As is, it could be easily made into a ham radio disaster
communication van and operations center!

Isn't it amazing how inside storage will preserve things?

Notice the additional side entry door at the rear. There are several Trans
modes in the Registry with this feature.

I wonder how long those three benches might be.
They might be useful as beds! Cabinets could
be converted to include a small stove and sink.
Some sort of enclosure for toilet facilities
could be built. We don't particularly care for
showers in the RV; prefer to dirty up somebody
else's instead!

I imagine one of the newer 12/120 fridges with
the Danfoss compressor could easily be added.
Stove could be electric, too, just as on a boat!

Condition looks great, too.

I'd bet one of the Jims could REALLY do this one
up magnificently!
