Just a note that this is NOT for engines with carbs. The pump pressure is 17 psi according to the pump spec and it will flood the carb. You'll then have to put on a pressure regulator. Emery recommended that I use Jim K's setup for my engine. Unfortunately for me, I'd already put in Emery's.

Unfortunately that is one of the problems with just looking at pictures and notes and write-ups on presentations that have been made at a rally or convention. There is still no substiture for being there to hear a seminar in person.

I had described my TBI setup verbally but it was not in the slides. I have a TBI system with a EBL.

I am not sure where you found the 17 psi but they go much higher. I have my pressure regulator set at 19 for the size injectors that I am using.

Jack could install a pressure regulator to bring the pressure down to the approx. 5 psi he needs for his carb system. Or there are low pressure pumps that can be used.

Jim Kanomata does has a kit for the carb system using one of the low pressure pumps.

Let me tell ya JimK's kit is a bargain. I figured this system out some time before Jim offered it.

His kit is less than the cost of the parts if you buy them separately. And that does not even count that you will have to buy 1 foot of the very expensive fuel immersion hose when you only need 5".

the cool thing is

Emery's pdf shows the best description I know of for "solid " pipe hoses
for the GMC tanks
http://goo.gl/c5uaX

-I am going to keep the sender/s
- hook up the drains so there is only one tank
- use all of emery's info to get rid of all the rubber (almost)
- use an external pump
- cut a hole in the floor to keep the pickup/ sender working
- and maybe, someday, put in a submersible pump (through the hole :>)

nice work Emery
