We have truly been blessed by GMC Classic Coach owners across Canada and
now into the USA. . We spent an enjoyable
day walking around the old parts of Boston - THe Freedom Trail - and Boston
Harbor. Saw the church building where it all began - the Tea Party and the
trail through the streets. The memorial to the Irish who were helped by
those in Boston in the Late 1800's. More than a million Irish died of
starvation during that time and more would have hadn't it been for the food
taken from Boston to Ireland. Also many immigrated to Boston at that time,
those that actually made the sea journey. It goes to show how those in the
USA have reached out to help others abroad.
We then headed to Cape Cod and spent some time on a beach in Cape Cod Bay -
got our feet wet while Cooper (dog) played with the waves. Then across the
island to a campsite on the Atlantic Ocean side. Had a wonderful picnic
dinner - candle light - and fnished with strawberry/Rhubarb pie (heated)
topped with Ice Cream.
Tomorrow we head for New York City.
Yesterday We had the front two tires replaced on our coach. The previous
treads were disappearing.
