At long last I had back surgery today. So far, so good. I have a morphine drip that I really, really like.

Hopefully, I'll be up and around soon, watching Ken H. work his wonders, not knowing "what the hell he is doing" but enjoying the visit a lot more.

Keep well. I hope you got the drip from that on-line place in Canada - it's really cheap!

Uh, and don't let Ken "fix" anything while he's visiting your hospital room. Those Doctor tools look really cool, but they take some experience to operate...

Ken is westward bound somewhere headed for Amana and one more rally, plus visiting some relatives.

He knows how "useless" I've been for over 6 months.

He won't be tinkering with any of the equipment in here, but I don't put it past his capabilities.

Listen, come over to my office in downtown Atlanta and we'll run down to the East end of Auburn Ave.  You can purchase pretty much anything you might want.

Stick, Ted,

Sure glad to hear you'll be back on the job soon, Stick. Hard to believe
how much it helps having you to fetch tools when I'm on the creeper & can't
get up.

Great that you're going to avoid the knife, Ted.

Y'All don't have to wait for me to get back. Stick knows where the shop
key is. There's a Cad500 there that needs to be stripped, cleaned and have
new rings & bearings installed. :-)
