$300. We'd take the windshield to replace our cracked one if we could figure out what to do with the rest of it afterward.

Belongs to Phil Hernandes. He is a member of Western States and Pacific Cruisers.

Probably already listed.
Phil bought it as a parts coach neqr Fallbroock several years ago.
The door is off my '73. Swapped it rater than re-skin the original.

I can see at least one other piece we need (cabinet door). We just don't have anywhere to put the rest of it. Very Happy Glad to see it's probably already listed in the registry (I did email for the TZE but never heard back).

Hi Meghan,

Thanks for posting this as I was not aware of it's existence. I already talked to Phil and am going to buy some bumper brackets. He will probably sell you that windshield if you still want it.

Bob,
Did you forget your bumper brackets when you got your bumpers?
Have you started putting on the body parts yet?

Hi Bruce,

Since my coach is a 78 it did not have the shock absorbers on them. Instead it came with plain steel brackets. One on each side and then they used the common piece in the middle, like the one I got from you, to join them.

My coach was towed before I purchased which is what destroyed the rear bumpers and also bent the brackets pretty badly. So the shock absorbers that came with the bumper sections I got from you I could not use.

I had planned to just beat my bent brackets back into shape but thanks to Meghan, who posted the info about the parts coach about 40 minutes away from me, I will not be able to pick up the straight unbent ones from Phil.

I have been overwhelmed with wrist and pocket watch repair and service work so have not yet gotten into my coach project.

I must tell you that the boys and I really enjoyed our road trip. We saw some beautiful country, some wild animals and some really nice people, including yourself.

Last I heard the parts I carried home for Greg are still safely stored in my son's garage in Lucerne Valley. I suspect they are in contact as to how to get them to Greg, but haven't spoken to my son,Gino, for a week or so.

Take care and hope to u]run into you sometime at a rally.

Bob

You're very welcome - as it turns out I spoke to Phil today too and we'll be seeing him soon ourselves. Smile We have to head most of the way there anyway this weekend, so might as well go there first and then double back! Unfortunately the windshields are fogging, but there are some other things our coach needs that his still has. Serendipity indeed.
