We just boarded the 16hr ferry sailing from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia
after spending a week on the Island.
All 3 coaches ran well except for Sandra's that coughed out in St. Antony's
and after she sat in a building supply
parking lot for the night and then towed to a shop to find it was not her
electric fuel pump but that small fuel filter
at the carb. The past 2 days we sat in Pippy Park Rv campsite in St.
John's and spent a couple hours on Thursday
afternoon scrapping out the lousy silicone from the joints on Glenn and
Darlene's coach. Friday morning we started
around 8am and were finished around 2:30pm then spent 1/2 hour doing some
cauling on Sandra's coach.
These will be tested in the days to come. We used PolyUrethane and looking
at it now it sure looks good.
We have talked to people who travel into the Maritimes but stop short of
visiting Newfoundland due to the cost of
the ferry trip. All we can say is - make sure you do it. We will be doing
a report on our Maritme travels in the coming days.
