a few weeks ago. I had the governor gear go bad.

I replaced it. test drove it. and all seemed good.

I just drove about 65 miles north. Pulling a pretty decent size trailer(maybe 3000 pounds?). and boy, there is just no real get up and go.

i was having a tough time figuring out where it was shifting when I was driving. but I could get it to go 55-65 MPH. but going faster then that it seemed it just didn't have the power.

I stopped on one hill. and boy did it take alot of throttle to get it to go. also now when I got here, we are in a grassy field. and it really takes alot of throttle to get moving. just seems.

I have towed this trailer before, and I know it had more zip then.

I do not think the tranny is slipping at all. I have driving slipping trannys. and this is not it.

tranny fluid and filter were changed about 1500 miles ago. and the level/color is good. could I have a gear particle blocking something?

any thoughts about easy things I should try before I head home. I am just having to take it easy.

do not have a real option of test driving it until I get home without the trailer.

seems to be more tranny related, but it could be engine snuffed out.

just wondering while we are out on site relaxing. what I could check.
