Howdy All,

Weird question perhaps but where are people storing their portable barbecues? Seems to be some limited space for such items.

Cheers, Jim

Thinking about getting a Pyromid, they seem to be back in production,
or can be found on ebay. 12" or the big one (15"?18"?), you can get a
smoker/oven and chicken or turkey roaster set up as well. Folds flat,
12x12x3/4". Not a great grill, but decent, good on fuel, quick and
easy set up and tear down, and takes no space at all. Also some
smaller versions, I don't think I'd go there.

I had a 12" years ago, I still miss it.

Thanks,
Ron

A while back I remember a real neat installation of a stainless BBQ on the back of a GMC. It was mounted on a swinging arm and was a great idea. I"m goona get around to doing it like that if I ever find the pictures again on the photo site.

Our grill is mounted on the rear bumper and swings out when we grill. It is mounted to a piece of pipe.

I remember the one I think you're referring to. Very very nice. I was sure I saved the link but I can't find it. Maybe the site it was hosted on went away or something.

Ted,

If you take the buzz box out from under the love seat you can store it there.

Remove the shelf under the breaker panel under the bathroom sink and you'll find that if you cut away the foam sound insulation
padding on top of the wheel well you have enough room for a Professional Dynamics 60 AMP Convertor. It's more than you need BUT the
fact that it fits between the under sink shelf and the wheel well makes it a great choice. Mine has been there for three years and
I've never had a problem with it. I would suggest replacing the 40 amp fuse where the charger connects to the rear battery with a 60
amp circuit breaker.

Next time I take the under sink shelf out I'll take some pictures for you.

Regards,
Rob M.

PS - To those naysayers - the engineers that designed the Avion located the C/:B panel, and 12VDC house fuses under the bathroom
sink.

Either in the trunk of the toad or if I don't have the toad along, I put it in two big grabage bags and set it behind the drivers seat with everything else I have back there.

Wow!

A lot of great ideas! I was thinking about one of those Weber Q 100 myself. My full size natural gas Weber is still working fantastic and must be 17 years old. I had to change some stuff over the years, but basically the core unit still grills food great. The thing has been used all year round, even through some very harsh winters.

I was trying to figure out the best place to stow it. I may have to stuff it in the storage unit on the roof for the time being but at close to 30pds that won’t be fun.

I guess I could place it on the passenger seat up front and have the wife ride on the couch out back… “Wow hang on a minute ..let’s double check that the Weber is securely belted in…before we go anywhere”
