I have one boogie pin that refuses to take anymore grease, the pin is full of grease, but nothing extrudes out even when I "encourage" it with my Lincoln impact cleaner.
Yes, the Zerk is good.
The 1 1/2 pin nuts are very tight.
Any thoughts whether I should go through the push-up to loosen the pin nuts, what should the nuts be tightened to?
Thanks
Gil

Sounds like a plan. I guess it's been clogged a long time.

If Gil can't help you out when I get back to Oz I'll find mine and see if I can read who made it.

Gil,
I know all about grease rams, but mine has gone missing.
Do you have a model number?
Do you know if they are still available?

Matt,
The ram that I have is a Lincoln Lubrication 5805. Another is
K D Tools KD416 Ramo-Matic Zerk Fitting Tool.

Gil and Rob,
Thanks
It is really hard to find things when all you know is the colloquial name that you have used forever.

This topic reminded me of my rear suspension rebuild. I bought pins and bushings from Applied. Good stuff but there was a considerable amount of machining debris inside the hollow part of the pin. I blew it out with compressed air while blocking different grease ports kinda like a flute to direct the air pressure around inside.
