Will do, Jim. Good suggestion. I am replacing all the components on the bad wheel including the various levers like the auto adjuster arm but will make sure it is sharp and in good contact. On the other side all looks good and I had to insert an ice pick to push the auto adjuster out of the way in order to back the shoes off enough to get the drum off so I think that one is ok.

Travel safely and hug the co-pilot for me!

Jerry, check the sharp edge of the adjuster arm that moves the starwheel.
If it is worn it will allow movement.

Jerry and all, Tonight these two lone ducks are at the Flying Goose RV park
about 2 miles S of I-90 near Fairmont, Mn. We sure miss Dwayne and Sharon,
Sandy, Glen and Darlene. Doing at least 300 miles per day. Be in Kadoka,
South Dakota tomorrow. This is a very nice RV park. Jammed for the long
weekend, but she found us a cancellation spot. First class place, older and
very well maintained. Lake, trees, shade, not humid but in the 90's today.
Old GMC is chugging right along, going to try to change oil tomorrow.
Coming up on 5000 miles on this trip. The GMC turned over 100,000 miles
when we were still in Canada. Crossed over the mighty Mississippi river
today, quite a sight. I offered to put Judy up in one of the Casino Hotel's
in Deadwood,SD after we see Mt. Rushmore the day after tomorrow. You know
the deal, sit down dinner cooked by someone other than me, hot shower in a
large space, long bed, the whole deal. She jumped on that offer, I'll tell
you. We have been "tin can tourists" since the 3rd of August. What a great
trip. Wouldn't have missed it for anything. Get those Coaches out, dust em
off, and wear them out doing what they were built for. Don't let them
wither and turn into a worthless pile of spare parts, use them, and make
some lifelong friends and memories at the same time.

Jim,

Helen and I are in Billings, Montana.

We're going to poke around here and see what we can see tomorrow.

From here we're heading to Devil's tower down 215 to Deadwood for a day or so. Then it's on to Sturgis.

Sure looks like we could hook up somewhere!

My cell No. is two six one - two six seven - three zero seven one.

Regards,
Rob M.

PS - I could use some help fixing the Onan - JUST KIDDING! ;-)

Jim and Judy, we have enjoyed your trip reports and really envy y'all. As
others have told us about our trip reports, you make us feel as we have
been there. Thanks for sharing. Continued good, safe travels! Sandra and
