$300. + $50. in gasohol = pretty excited gmc owner. Haven't heard it run yet but will keep you campers posted. Looks low hour, no remote so no hours. Fluids look clean. Came from burn out 36' sob and was running before being pulled. Got 2 manuals to digest before attempting to start. Any heads up current Honda owners?

I was wondering so I did a quick look on criagslist (with search tempest) and found many "EV6010" listings marked as: "This posting has been deleted by its author." So they seem to be out there and selling.

Here are active listings:

Not the two cylinder Honda "EV" but interesting:

You can use the Onan remote panel. The Honda manual has a wiring diagram that shows how to connect it. Your biggest problem may be the muffler, however, since it is coming out of an RV, it may have the correct muffler for a GMC installation. Look on the bdub site, I have sent him a .pdf of the Honda ev6010 mounting template. If you take it to a print shop, it will print full scale.
You can also wire in a standard hour meter. parts are easy, not quite Onan price level, but Hondas never were cheap..
Order at your local Honda dealer. Most are unfamiliar with the product, but they can get the parts. Oil filter is easy,WIX makes them.
There are several spots on the photo site with Honda installs. Air flow is critical, be sure and mount it at least the minimums from the box walls. The Honda cannot be made to slide out. The exhaust system ends up behind the frame. If you are very skilled, you could do a slide out, but I've not seen or hear of one installed that way.
Good luck, buy it and you will be happy.

He wanted $500. I think I just about peed myself when he accepted $300. I couldnt get it in the back of the van fast enough. He bought the salvage RV for the new tires it had on it and was going to use gen at home.
