We arrived in Montreal last night and moved again this morning to a
different campsite. John came this morning and guided us over then called
another GMC owner
Les to come over for a visit. following this Glenn and I went over to
Les's house to view his work(S) in progress. His coach is off the ground,
the frame right out and parts
from another coach (to be used - came from a burnt out coach) He is
mechanically experienced and will no doubt turn this coach into a well
running machine.

we then piled into one coach and headed to he Metro subway system for a
walking tour of downtown and the old warehouse/dock area. Had a good lunch
at a place specialising in
Poutine. by the time 6pm rolled around all our feet were in need of a foot
rub. Back to camp and set out the table for another wonderful meal.

Tomorrow we entertain Les and his wife joining us for breakfast and giving
her a tour of our coaches. Then off to Quebec City for 2 nights - tour the
old city and more. . . .
Have to stay away from the Plains of Abraham Sat evening due to a concert
there with Madonna. They are expecting 100,000 people. This and being the
long weekend.
Funny - the campsite we were at last night wasfully booked for the
weekend. the one we are at now is possibly 15% full.

ON this trip from the west coast to here I noticed very few places - Jasper
and Banff - that were lose to being full. Saw few holiday trailers,
motorhomes - tenters on the roads.
Definitely the economy is not doing well.
Some of the roads are just plain bad dirt.

We don't have a Dog and please no donations, not that we don't love dogs -
we just don't have the place for them.

It is strange. A month ago in ND, Mont., and Idaho. some places were jammed. When I was in Glacier a month ago they had so many vehicles entering that they just stood at the gate and waved people through without stopping them for the admission fee. At another reservoir where I camped for the night there was only one other family there. It was very nice place. On US highway 2 I saw many, many RV's and 5th wheels, lots of motorcycles and bicycles. A week later on a more southern route I saw next to no people vacationing.

Dwayne, and all. Judy and i miss you. Currently preparing to leave Benton
harbour, Michigan. Temp was in 90,s humidity off the scale. We are going to
try and meet with Steve southworth in e. Troy, mi. Today. Went to a t & t,
& traded for a new cell phone that is a hot spot. If you have a signal, you
have internet. No more phony wifi for me. Have fun and stay safe. Take lots
of pix. We wish you all the best. When you come back up west coast, stop in
Salem and spend some time with us

Jim,
Will do. Say hello to steve.
Back to the 2 KOA campsites in Montreal. The West KOA was packed however it
is right beside the freeway. Lots of traffic noise all night plus a train
almost every hour. now we r in the South KOA and few campers but no traffic
or train noise. I guess people like noise. It is easy from here to
shopping and their metro subway.
Well got to get the blueberry pancakes on the grille.
