This is a burn injury from the exhaust of the onan generator or may be an
electrical burn.

You're even closer to correct as it was a backfire that did the deed!

This concludes the contest and remember; "Only YOU can prevent Onan exhaust burns, don't put your bloody leg in front of the muffler
tail pipe!"

Been there done that, got almost the same burn other than I had to wash away the soot to find the burn, happened while trying to figure out the hot wiring that was making the gen run
