DON'T let cats hide in your GMC if there are pit bulls around:

Ken,

I love the fact that the kitten is up for adoption!

I hope it was the pit bull owner's car that got mangled. If so, he got what he deserved for neglecting to train/control them.

Gary Berry can tell you similar tales about locking a Jack Russel Terrier
in a GMC with the blinds down. Hint: Terriers like to look out windows.

I think I have pictures someplace. PoohBear (short-legged English
Jack Russel Terrier non-neutered male) decided he wanted out of the
coach while we were gone. He destroyed 5 of the 6 blinds in the coach
(the one over the sink survived). He's actually done this twice. We
thought he had quit. He also did it to the curtains in front of out
sliding glass door at the house. But, we love him. Now we lock him
(them) outside (or in his/their kennel) when ever we leave the house
or the coach.

Kerry and Leanne Tandy came to visit us one year. They stayed for a
couple of days. When they left, we hadn't realized that our female
EJRT had gotten out or was missing. Luckily Kerry had driven downtown
to fill up at a station about 3 miles away. He said he heard something
squealing when he stopped. He open the engine cover on his GMC to find
Jiggy (out dog) sitting on top of his engine. I think she was chasing
a squirrel or something. Surprised us all. Stupid dogs. Anyone want a
puppy (got 5)?

Gary,

LOL!

I've heard of cats crawling on top of engines to get warm in the winter only to be turned into YUK by the fan when the engine
started up.

Never heard of a dog doing this! Yours was lucky he didn't get chopped up too!

Guess Kerry doesn't have a heavy duty Hayden fan clutch! ;-)

Regards,
Rob M.
