Running 68 jets with the lightest spring puts me in the 14.5:1 range, it movs around a lot, but cruise is pretty close to that.
I put in 66 jets and cruise went to 17:1 way too lean.
It was ay 18+:1 at idle and would bog terribly, I didn't adjust the idle mixture, but the cruise was still too lean.
So it looks like I need 67 jets.
Now I've always been told you cant tell the difference between jets less than 2 sizes apart, but that was pre wideband days.
So I think I'll buy a couple of sets of 66, 67 and 68 jets in cace the flow variations are different enough within a jet size
The other idea is to drill the 68's a little.
Anyone have experience drilling jets?

It was a turbo 5 audi motor with programmable fuel injection. I could set AFR by vacuum(MAP) and boost and set it for 16 to 1 at cruising speed on the flat. That was around 10-15 of vacuum. Fattened it up to 14 at 5 and then 12 when the turbo scrolled up.
The boost side doesn't apply but you might want to see how it runs at 15 to 1.

I'm using an LC1 with their analog gauge, I quite like it.
Absolutely, I'd love to see 15.5:1
I even bought an exhaust temp gauge to make sure I don't burn up the valves.
eventually I'll put on a TBI system and then can dial in the AFR better
