G'day,

Had a GREAT day yesterday! We fixed tamed the Barbarian!

After spending hours checking this and checking that Emery and I decided to disconnect the Pertronix and hook up the points.

Fortunately JimB had been kind enough to give me one of the later model points sets (adjust like Chevy points with Allen head screw)
which made setting them easy.

For those of you with late model Onan's you have no idea how difficult it is to adjust the points on an early model. You need to get
in from BEHIND and adjust them using a feeler gauge. They have a screw that locks them to a plate when you're done. Pull your Onan
out and see how easy it is to look at the back side of the box that the points are in. It's a PITA!

At any rate we set the points roughly, disconnected the Pertronix, hooked up the points and hit the starter. She fired right up!

HOOO BLOODY RAY!

Today we'll pull the fan shroud to try and determine why the Pertronix failed.
