What is the "Optional water-saving hand sprayer available"? Is this extra item worth the $10 they want for it?

What is the "Optional water-saving hand sprayer available"? Is this extra item worth the $10 they want for it?

Steve,

Would like a longer answer and maybe a little bit complete one?

It is essentially a rinser like is usually accompanying a kitchen faucet. The plan is to use it to wet the bowl before use and rinse clinging solids into the wet spot before flushing. This can save a lot of water at some times.

When needed, I just use the shower.

Matt

OR, you can try the RV proven way of first lining the bottom of the commode
with TP,then do your business and not need a sprayer. We did use the
shower spray to clean the commode though when necessary.

OK - thanks all for the answers. It sounds like this would be useful in a dry bath. Most of us, us here included, have the wet bath so there is a sprayer already available. Gonna order it as soon as I get done here.
