The saga continues...

Backfiring healed itself, compression was good, so I bought a spare ignition module and headed off on 1000mi trip. About an hour down the road suddenly lost power and died. Managed to get safely onto the shoulder and was SO HAPPY to hear my aux vac pump come on and give me brakes with the engine dead!!!

Then feeling like a prepared Boy Scout for having a spare ign module, I started the changeout, and first thing discovered air cleaner housing with about 1/2" of gas in it. Not good. Turning key on and activating fuel pump created instant stream of gas out both sides of one of the injectors. Went ahead and changed the ign module, but am down and out on the injector.

Started the several-hours-long process of getting a tow. Finally successful and ended up at P&M Auto in Salem, OR, where I sit in the waiting room while they try to find a new O-ring. Can't seem to get PN info from Howell or Holly, so we sit.

Anybody out there have a PN Autozone or Napa might have that will work and get me back on the road?

Thanks,
