When the mice chewed the wires the fuel and oil gauges they shorted out.
If you have one you would like to let me have.
Please let me know.

Howard,
I just replaced my stock gauge cluster(Fuel,Temp & Oil press), and they worked perfectly when I removed them (it)
I would love to see it go to a good home.
I do not want anything for it...$.
Just PM me, or e-mail me at: G2photos@aol.com and give me an address to send it to and it will be yours to have.
Talk soon,
G2

and this is why I put the big ol tom cat outside when he wants to and point him towards the GMC.

Not only does he save the wiring, he gets a free meal.

I love to see him crunching away on a little rodent Smile

1. this is why i think an invention of a reverse cover that lays on the ground and you pull up to window level that is

tough enough to not allow rodents in would be a good design to sell. vermin is a real problem. fill the inside

with feed to kill them. Just in case they get inside. 2. Watch the west nile virus.

One problem
Unless he is a really BIG TOM the coyotes would have him if not the first
night the second night for sure.
In thirty plus years we have only had one Coyote proof cat.
She died some time ago of old age.

That's why I have BWDs.  They can (and have done) make messy junk out of a coyote in jig time.  The local coyotes give my place a very wide berth.

Big White Dogs.  Aka 'Chick Magnets'.

Thiose guys run 115 - 125 pounds each.  They've been used and conditioned to guard whatever animal they're bonded to for something over three millenia.  Most coyotes are smart enough to realize they haven't a chance.  The stupid ones get Darwinized.

A couple of years ago we were camped in an area that had a lot of sheep. The word in the campground was keep your dogs away from the big white dogs or they tear them apart. Paula and I were walking our dogs about 1/2 a mile from the campground out in the desert when 2 of these dogs came around the bend I thought o crap were done for. They trotted up to us and the big one jumped up and put his paws on my shoulders and licked my face he must have been 6 ft 5" tall. They followed us back to camp and everyone at camp ran into their rigs. I believe they are called great Pyrenees. Paula really liked them and wanted to take the big one home with us I told her no they are working dogs playing hooky.

BIL has a Kuvasz?  Suave.  They've been flockguards six forevers, and will take to it instinctively to a large degree.   Raise them with lambs, and they will look after all stock.  Common comment is "If I'm happy, he's happy" and that pretty well covers their temperament.  Most marvelous animals there are bar none.
