Hi all,

My passenger-side exhaust pipe runs right below the entry door. Will
this interfere with the installation of a Ragusa step?

Yes, that is the area that the step attaches. The outer mount fits at the low point of the outer skin, right where the exhaust is located.

While some of you are thinking about Sean's question I'll ask another that is in the same area. I'm going to be putting in JimK's 3" exhaust. If I would want a Ragusa step would I be well advised to put it on before I install the exhaust?

It does not interfere with a normal exhaust set up. You can do either one first.

Doesn't interfere with the 3" exhaust either!

The Ragusa step on the WarPig is very close fitting from the rocker to the floor. The way your tailpipe is hanging I think you could re position the tailpipe if there was a conflict w/o much trouble.

This appears to be a very poor idea in hanging the exhaust pipe. I would worry about having exhaust fumes, etc being sucked into the passenger compartment. Never mind an opportunity to get a nice accidental burn.

I only use the two body bolts. I put adjustable stops on the inside
supports, and let them rest on the frame.

there is only a down load on the step, no up load so works fine.
and
when you put in the new body to frame pads, you will not have to re-drill
the mounting holes

Yes, I'm learning that my POs made some poor choices in their various
modifications :(
