trying to get ALL the functionality of my coach working...

The PO lost a few sockets for the tell-tale display, only cruise works.

I found the bulbs and I called Applied GMC, they're looking for them.
But just in case, where does one find those tiny little things?

I bought some about a year ago through Amazon from BULB Town. Number was PC74. $0.72 each, bought a 10 pack and shipping was almost as much as the bulbs.

I couldn't find them locally, only the 1/2" and 5/8" sockets, but finally found some for the tell tales on Ebay. With shipping, they're ~$10 for 6.

Thanks Everyone.
I think I found a donor for the whole assembly, which is really cool since my PC board is coming apart

I just got a box of ten PC74 with holder and bulb for about $9.00 from O'Riely Auto Parts, they were at warehouse, had them before 9 the next morning.

Also found Clearance LED light assemblies at Superbrightleds.com for $9.95 each.

great led site. thanks i need to replace every light possible with led's that works well.

thinking about lights -

I have a one c big battery strobe light with a magnet on it, if you stop at night in the road run back and place the strobe on the rear tire rim.

if old rim with the magnet. any metal area that works, this allows traffic to see you and that something is big and wrong ahead. white strobing light!

i have used this on my airport shuttle vans and used one once but it saved us from being rear ended at 65 miles per hour.

WHite Strobe Light on a magnet like small flash light case. I got if from army surplus. helps to get attention when needed. Saved me once.

Thanks for that info. My local O'R has them at $7.99 for 10. Their website works a lot better than some others I have virtually given up on. With better numbers I was able to force the NAPA site, after it first claimed no such part existed, to show the part, at $3.15 EACH.

I used these, I found they worked better if you snip the spring part off

Russ,

The light at O'Reilly store will fit the speedometer, and gauge cluster, but not in the tale-tail warning cluster. Those are a smaller diameter (half the diameter of the std socket) with a very small light bulb.

Resizing the mounting hole for the std socket is possible as far as the container (assembly box) is concerned, the problem is the printed circuit sheet.

The sockets I have are deteriorated and 2 missing. I'm thinking of using leds in some way to mount them.

For being the "wrong" size the PC74 ( http://goo.gl/yDTMZ) fit right into
the cluster on my "76. Pictures will be forthcoming, maybe as late as
Monday.

I agree with Russ, the PC74's, though not from O'Reilly's, fit the "telltales" in my '75.
