So after the Water Pump Follies, we did the Salem show for five days, had a good time, visited with friends and generally kicked back.  Sunday we packed up to head home.  Fortunately, it's cool and rainy out today.  I say fortunately, because I cranked the genset to run the roof air, and hit the switch accidentally a second time, which turned the set off when the starter tried to engage.  Tried to restart, GRAUNNNNCH!.  Oops - took a tooth off something there.  So, home we went with the windows open, and since it was 70s out, not a bad ride.

The starter now grinds instead of engaging.  Out comes the Junkerac this weekend.  I am not minded to reinstall it, I would prefer either my Kohler or my Yamaha.  We'll see which one might fit.  Or, I may consider a contractor's special, a la KenH.  Also this weekend hopefully I'll diagnose the dash air and get started fixing it.   I think the front seal is gone but I want to confirm before simply replacing.
