Kelvin Dietz from Eugene OR has some pix on the photo site, and has a
similar overhead console in his 23' Coach.

Thanks for the intro, Jim. :^)

Hopefully you can find what you need here.

I got this information from someone else on the GMC List. Or a couple
sources... I don't remember.

The compass works well. The thermometer isn't so great. In the
vicinity but seldom accurate..
I need to find the optimum spot for the temp sender, I think...

Oh... and I wired it all up but I didn't build the mounting system. A
buddy of mine does stereo installs and for $100 he did all the hard
stuff. The center speakers are both wired up as "Right" and the
speakers in the stock location are both "Left".

I have pictures too!
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g5210-overhead-console.html

My thermometer works great, I just mounted it behind the grill.

Yes in the rain they cool off and when stopped they heat up, but otherwise they work good.

I have the modification instructions on there so it will work without the vss ( if freezes the temp display otherwise )

That is a good point. Does anyone have info on what all to harvest at the "mall", where the various parts are located. I know the temp sensor is installed behind the GMC badge in the grill. Are the electronics somewhere besides in the console itself? Any other parts?
Thanks

I do!
It doesn't have the connector though.
so you'd either have to solder on some wires or go junk yarding.

BTW, the speaker mod is custom, the stock consoles don't have speakers in them

I also have 1 long console, and one short one, the short one is missing the connector too

Best offer + shipping Smile
