We have a problem with galley drawers sliding open while driving.

I found where the problem was discussed on this blog back in 2009.

Please advise what is a current source for the 18 inch slides with the detents that prevent accidental drawer opening.

Thanks

Steve,

I'm doing an upgrade right now and needed slides for my kitchen. Soooo...
I stopped at a Rockler store near me, and got sets of "Accuride" slides. Model # for their 18" slide is 3832-C18SC. I has 18" travel, Vertical Drawer Adjustment, Self-Close Feature, Stay-Close Feature, and optional Face Frame Brackets.

I have 3 of the 6 sets I bought installed and looks like they will work just fine.

Also says on the spec sheet that their web site is:
www.accuride.com

Here's a link to the GMC Photo Album where Arch did an extensive DIY on replacing slides with Accuride.
Hope this works:

Where you will read Bob Burkitt did the upgrade first and Arch copied, giving credit to Bob and now I give credit to Bob, as belated as it is.
