I run my AC on 20 AMP 220 and have a problem with the burning up a plug
when I had left the hot water heater on. I burnt up another set of plugs
when my wife ran both ACs. They ran but when I went to un-plug I found the
plug burnt and asked my wife what she did. The other day when it was 107
in Decatur I needed that second AC since it 85 inside the RV when I was
cleaning up before our trip the NY.

Since then I check the plug after the AC runs for a short time to make sure
it is not getting hot. I also have newer AC Units and the one I normally
run on 20 AMPs has Duragas (SP) since I broke a line cleaning out mud
dobbers out of the fan. It runs a slightly lower current draw and cools as
good if not better.
