Finally got internet today. Just letting the group know how the move went & how the GMC is doing.
So far, all is working according to plan. The old A/C fan started making noise, so we got one from a neighbor to replace it until I get a new fan motor. I got the new one off a travel trailer that was being scrapped & I got it for $40, it's salvage price. It's smaller than the old one, but it keeps it bearable. The electric wires to the site where we wanted the coach were stolen before we got here, so it's sitting temporarily at the meter pole until I get it replaced. The wire alone is pricey, but I won't cut corners. #8 wire in conduit from the meter pole to the final site (85' approx.)
I'll add more later, but I'm still setting up telephone & internet. Water is supplied by hose & holding tank is being emptied using a macerator for the time being. I'm getting a neighbor to flatten a pad & tow the coach to it's final location. There is sugar sand here & the GMC sinks like the Titanic in it. The fishing is good here however. So I'm told; I don't fish much.
