For Gene Dotson..
where is the coolant level thingy on y'alls radiator(mine)?

Next where does the yellow wire go when it goes to the coolant level thingy after it leaves the harness?

I have a short piece of yellow wire with a burnt wire area for about 6 inches followed by around 8 inches if bare wire strands coming out of the harness.

CBWood,

The coolant level opening is on the left side of the aluminum radiator and about 5 inches from the top of the tank. As far as how the wires go some one that has them on their coach or has the wiring diagram could give you better information. My coach is a 1974 and doesn't have the level alarm.

Even if it was not burned, the wire will not fit all the way over there. The wire is a few inches short. So just cutoff the bad spot and splice on a new piece (with connector) that is long enough to make it to the new location on the radiator.

I assume you removed the sensor from the old radiator.

I can't help you on that. I had an engine fire a few years back and I had to rewire everything around the engine. If there was a original spare pair of wires, I definitely did not replace them.

The only things up front on the engine that come to mind are: oil pressure sensor, coolant temperature sensor, alternator, and AC clutch.

The light blue was probably an unused wire going to a solenoid throttle atom that wasn't used on or 1977 models.

I am presently 450 miles away from my 77 Kingsley but I can look at mine on a couple of weeks. I know there was a couple of unused wires up front.

Charles,

The yellow wire runs all the way from the coolant level sensor to the
switching module under the dash with no other connections. Any other wires
have some other purpose.
