The fresh water tank vent on my beast seems to have been futzed with. I have a vent at the top of the forward side of the tank and a tent on the big inlet hose at back. These have been "teed" together near the front of the tank and a short hose with a bit of screen at end goes up behind the bathroom wall. I have no idea what the original vent looked like. By the look of the water damage, and what I see happening when I fill the tank with the hose fitting, there is considerable spitting of water out of the vent. I'm considering venting this hose outside somewhere like the LP tank compartment but before I start drilling holes I thought I'd ask around. Ideally there should be some way to see the water come out of the vent to let me know to stop filling ... I think.

Any ideas or solutions for me to look at?

Thanks
