Good afternoon from a hot and humid Santa Teresa, New Mexico
Does any one know the name of the Onan guru. I know there was a man who
was on the original design team for our units
Thanks
Marcel

Are you thinking of Duane Simmons? He passed away a while ago, and his knowledge is certainly missed.

Marcel,

The Onan Guru was Duane Simmons, he passed away last year.

Post your question here.

thanks for the thought, but I thought there was another fellow who
worked for Onan and helped design the original units in our coaches. I
bought a board from Duane a couple of years ago
thanks again

Hi Marcel
Ken Broostin of Tulsa, OK was the engineer in charge of the suitcase
generator project for the GMC. His contact information is in the Classics
Roster.

Marcel,

That would be Ken Broostin. He gave a talk on the Onan at the Shawnee
Convention.

Rob M.

The Onan on our coach works fine. It's a good thing too - our power
company is saying they may have to shut down this evening because of a
huge wildfire about five miles from town. Check it out:

You may just have to flee the fire and live in that GMC for awhile!

Hope it all goes well for you and your family!

P.S. The link didn't work. Maybe you have to be a Facebook member?
