My son called me on Saturday, on his way back from picking up an oil filter for a Honda motorcycle, and told me he saw a GMC with a for sale sign sitting along the road. I just took a ride down to the area where he saw it, and thought I'd report to the group, in case anyone is interested.

It is a 1975 Glenbrook, TZE165V100783. It has Alcoas and unknown age Michelins on it and a 16" steel spare. Window tint is very dark, so I didn't get much of a look inside. There are Schrader valves on the air bags, which look to be in decent condition. The roof has two 'newer' Duo-Therm AC units on it.

As I was copying down some info, a man drove up and said he is the one selling it for a friend of his brother (or something to that effect). His business is a few doors down from where the coach is parked, on Stone Ave. just north of Grant Rd. He said the owner is a doctor who "took really good care of it and upgraded the inside quite a bit, but just doesn't use it any more".

The paint looks like it would polish up with a bit of effort, but the vinyl stripes are pretty weathered. It might be a good candidate for someone who wants to make an offer.

The price was listed at a pretty optimistic $13,500. The contact is "Mark" at (520) 401-2117.

There is is! Maybe Shot has some info on it or it might be a new find???
