I changed the oil filter today and noticed the dust cover or inspection cover is missing on the transaxle. I was wondering if this is a problem? I have no idea as to how long it has been missing.

I checked the local junk yards and no one has one.

Does anyone have an extra one?

Planning on heading to Oswego NY next week.

Art,

At someone's request, I posted this some time ago:

I don't know that it's ever been used, nor whether it's worth the trouble
to make one, but there it is.

Or maybe you're talking about the little round one high on the right side?
If so, I wouldn't worry about it -- or would use the duct tape solution.
