I just had a call from an ex-GMC owner in NC who wants to donate his load
of GMC spares to GMCDL or GMCMI. He has an RV dealership in Clinton, NC
and has restored a couple of GMCs for himself, with the help of Dan Hudson.
Now that Dan's gone, "all the fun's gone from GMCing", so he's disposed of
his GMC's. He's cleaning his garage of good, mostly mechanical, some new
or lightly used, parts and wants to donate them to one of the clubs. For
logistical reasons, GMCDL probably makes most sense.
He has a brand new, in the box, passenger side windshield he'd like to sell
CHEAP.
He say the load, including the windshield would probably fit in a 6' pickup
bed.
If anyone can help with the logistics of getting the parts from Clinton to
an upcoming rally, please contact me off-net. Or if you want to contact
him about the glass.

MIchael,
Are you planning to come to the Crossville rally? If so, I MAY want to
discuss the possibility of your bringing the parts. There shouldn't be too
many since the windshield is apparently sold.
But we've got a member who may be able to come by Clinton without much
deviation from his route; if so, we probably won't need your help.

I've decided NOT to take the glass, so you are welcome to it. He wants
$300 for it. I called to let him know but he wasn't in. Ken left his
