I had posted that when I filled the coach with gas for our 1st trip this spring
we got a bad gas smell in the coach back toward the bathroom. I had dropped the
tanks last August and put on new hoses, sender gaskets, etc. Last fall we had
no problems at all.

I dropped the tanks again yesterday, such a fun job...NOT ! Found a small split
in the vent line on the rear tank about 1/4" from the hose clamp, could see the
stain were just a small amount of gas had leaked out. This fitting is right
under the shower where there was a hole cut by good ole Coachman to install the
shower drain trap. This also had to be the place were the mice were getting
in. I pop riveted a piece of aluminum over the hold and then from inside the
coach through an access cover foamed it with great stuff, so hopefully I've
solved two problems here.

Again, thanks for the help everyone. You guys nailed it, REAR TANK as everyone
thought.

Great to hear Ray. That gas can sit there and you will never see it roll off. It leaves when you put the coach in gear and take off. I had a similar experience. When you drop the tank you always see the stain on top.

I hope you used the barrier type fuel line so you can put it to rest for a long time.

When I changed all of the fuel lines last August I used the barrier type. Not
sure how a small slit got in the line. Hopefully it will be fine now.
