I got one of our vans back from Cummins Souith today.  To the tune of 318 dollars they replaced the carburetor and the fron door.  I noticed inside, labor at $114 per hour.   The Fradys are cheaper.  Carb was I think $206.  Since we have our big sets on contract, we get a minimu 10% off list and 20 off labor.  Shop foreman says the alcohol in the gas eventually eats up even the new one.  This is a nine year old  MicroLite 2500 Watt unit hung under an Econoline.

He had fourteen SOBs on his lot, all lined up for genset service of one sort or another.

The decision to go dual-fuel with Propane is getting easier all the time...

Or the foreman knows all he has to do is say alcohol and people will pay him without a second thought

Any engine built in about the last 20 years was required to be capable of handling 10%. All it does to them is keep them clean.

I've been dealing with this guy for just under 30 years.  I don't think he's 'distributing taffy' as Mark Twian used to say.  He freely admits the MicroLites are not to the standard the Marquis and some ofthe older models are.
