G'day,

I had an email "conversation" with Art Woodell of Digi-panel and below is a synopsis of what he noted:

Hi Rob-

Re your questions:

1) Yes, the standard DP-104 comes with the oil pressure sender. The only thing you need buy is the nipple & T fittings. Our sender
has 1/8" NPT fitting, same as GMC. We recommend that you do NOT use soft copper nipples though as they are not physically strong.
The other advantage over the -J model is that the oil pressure gauge is linear due to built-in "constant current" generator &
therefore more accurate.

2) We can provide 1 additional reading which uses the Transmission Temperature scale with modifying the Digi-panel front panel.
It can provide:

1) Engine oil temp or
2) A second point on the transmission or
3) Final drive temperature.

3) We can measure a max of 3 points but to do so we use a 3 position rotary switch in the corner instead of a 2 position toggle
switch. Since the circuit board was not designed for that, it's a pain in the "you know where!" ;-)

It takes quite a bit of time to hand drill to mount the switch (we've only done a few; I have 3 of the rotary switches left in
stock), but if you really need it, it would cost the $27.50 X 2 = $55.00 for the 2 options and put in another $25.00 labor making a
total of $80.00 extra.

Hope this helps!
Best wishes!!
Art Woodell

If you want to go with the DP-104 I suggest buying:

1/8" stainless steel pipe "T": http://www.mcmaster.com/#4464K47

1/8" stainless steel nipple - thick wall - 1 1/2" long: http://www.mcmaster.com/#46755K21

The nipple screws into the engine block and the "T" screws into the nipple with one "leg" vertical and the second horizontal. As I
mentioned earlier I found out that the Digi-Panel (DP-104J) didn't work connected to an OEM transducer directly. I mounted two OEM
transducers one horizontally the second vertically. It's a tight fit! You need 1 1/2" or you won't be able to screw the "T" onto the
nipple it will hit the engine block. Even with 1 1/2" it was a tight fit. Keep in mind this was on MY 455 yours might be different
and I have NO idea as to what will work on a 403.

Regards,
Rob M.
