It worked so well there must be something wrong.
I changed the rear cylinders and most of the lines going forward.
I opened a rear bleeder and pumped like a mad man. After a long time a few drops came out.
So, I poured a large bottle of DOT3 in a clean bug sprayer, cut the sprayer off and forced the plastic hose onto the bleeder.
I pumped it up opened the opposite bleeder. Brake fluid gushed forth.
I tightened the bleeder and headed to the front where i found brake fluid pouring over the top of the MC. (top seal is worn)
That was too easy.
The pedal is hard. Battery is charging. I was not expecting to drive it tonight.
The end is in sight thanks for all the help along the way.

That is the way we do airplane braked BUT...
On an airplane the bleeder is positioned at the bottom of each wheel cylinder/ caliper so all of the air is forced out of the system and back out to the master cylinder.
On a GMC, or car, or truck the bleeders are mounted on the top of the cylinders. So doing your procedure you can not get all of the air out of the cylinders. I suggest that you pump the brakes and open each bleeder one at a time to remove any additional air that might be trapped in the cylinders. It won't be a whole lot of air but it will be nice to know all of it is gone.

I reckon this is one instance we should buy American and support a GMCer!

Damn you, Rob, now i have guilt.
My $9 bug sprayer was made by slave labor in China, loaded on to a container ship by slave labor in Shanghai, delivered to, and sold by exploited, non-union workers at Wal-Mart.
The truck driver who delivered it was the only one to earn a living wage.

In all fairness, I am fairly sure it would be very difficult to source a US made spray tank.
IIRC: JimH's pressure bleeder MC PLATE is the only part he makes. (In the USA.) The rest is sourced from the same "slave labor" sources as your bug sprayer.

Hi guys, I do have a dog in this hunt, so be advised. The brake bleeder
kits that I make are assembled with as much U.S. manufactured products as I
can locate. Chapin Plastics makes the only brake fluid resistant plastic
1/2 gallon sprayer that I could find without kicking the cost up to a
stainless steel or copper purpose built pressure vessel. The plastic tubing
is food grade acid and base resistant material. I do not remember the
country of origin. The bleeder valve waste receptacles are Langer's
cranberry juice containers which I recycle, as is the Aluminum plate
material that I make the top plates from. The gasket material on the plate
is a special durometer brake fluid resistant Buna-n material and the
adhesive that attatches the gasket to the plate is brake fluid resistant as
well. That stuff I had to find out the hard way. I tried to keep the cost
affordable, but if you would prefer, I can have purpose built proprietary
parts fabricated in the good old U.S.A and pass the savings on to you. I
don't get rich doing this. I am just trying to help out my fellow GMCers by
producing a proven to work, well sorted out brake bleeder system that just
works, no frills. End of soap box comments.
